The Shards of Rul Series

Book One: King’s Imitation

Discovering she’s not the true heir, Princess Andrea demands to fetch Gavin to make sure he gets to the palace safely.

But he seems just as determined to stay off the throne as she is to get him on it.

Along the way, they find that mysterious killers are on their trail. Will they make it back to the palace in one piece or is it already too late?

Book Two: A Shattering Truth

Truth. Loyalty. Honesty.

Things are not going as planned.

Gavin’s kingdom is in shambles, and he hasn’t even been sworn in as king yet. Andrea seems to be keeping her distance, and he swears she’s not even the same person anymore.

The thief’s realm isn’t much better as Danathen’s sincerity to his fellow miscreants is questioned. And Andrea struggles to hold everything together by a thread as she embarks on a journey to set everything right in the kingdom again, battling her own demons along the way.

However, their problems are a lot bigger than they thought and nothing is as it seems.

But the truth is more than they ever imagined it could be.

Book Three: The Awakening

Bravery. Sacrifice. Compassion.

Andrea’s A’lier powers are gone, but she still needs to find Rul and return his powers to him, halting the Rulon’s takeover of Kovrin.

The Bilhans have taken Gavin’s throne, and he must fight to get it back, though his grasp of kingship is tenuous at best.

Danathen and Isabella try to prepare themselves for their own sacrifices, battling their inner demons along the way.

Torin hates his own people, but finds the woman he used to love, and is unsure if her loyalty is with him or the Rulon.

Azen and Chase fight through the hard labor of Rulon slaves, and strive to find the rebels among the thousands of slaves in Eil Mitan.

But all the while, the world is changing, and the Rulon are gearing up for war against Roden. It will take all of their grit, smarts, and courage to destroy the Rulon’s power, but the sacrifices they must all make are more than they bargained for, maybe even more than they can survive.
